Birthday Rolodex

Here is the rolodex I made for Brian for his birthday. I will post a few of the pages and some the girls made too.

Awe aren't they sweet??

Here are the girls in my scrap room after we put the carpet in. Anissa ran upstairs and grabbed the skin and started posing for me to take pictures. Too funny. I only wish they could get along this good all of the time!!

Snake Skin

Brian hit a snake when he was mowing the land. The girls wanted to keep it so he skinned it and mounted it on this piece of wood. My girls are tomboys all the way!!

Lone Antelope

Here is an antelope that hangs around on our land. She is usually by herself which is strange since they are usually in herds. Look at her belly. I think she will be having her baby soon.

Trampoline jumping

The girls LOVE jumping on the trampoline they got for Christmas from Grammie. They are on it at least once a day.

Four legged fun!!

Brian's wonderful Aunt Roxi & Uncle Paul gave the girls these animals. Their kids are now grown and thought the girls would LOVE them. Here is Anaia and her Donkey named Donkey. :) Thanks Uncle Paul & Aunt Roxi, we love you.

Anissa and Donkey.
Anissa's Horse Summer.
Robin, Donkey and Summer.

Oh how we grew!!

Here is an updated picture of the ducks and a chicken. Man they grew so quick. Anaia's duck has really interesting markings.

Spring is Here................I think.

Ahh the nice smell of fresh spring air.......There is nothing like it. Flowers pop up to say hello. And snow falls from the sky. WHAT? That's right. We had a snow storm the other day and the kids got a day off from classroom time at school on April 25th. Crazy I know. What is up with all this weird weather?
But onto better things. With spring comes new babies!! Here are a few pictures I took around here of some really cute little furry or feathered babes.

Wow how fast they grow!!

Now you seen those cute little ducklings the girls got for Easter. Well look at them now. Not even a month later. They grow REALLY fast.

More Snow!!

I am soooooooo sick of seeing white!! No more snow please. I am getting cabin fever out here in Strasburg, Colorado. I haven't been out of the house for about 2 weeks. We got a blizzard. Then they called for another one. Thankfully that turned out to be just about a foot.

You can just see the top of our fence posts here. Way too much snow for me.

Snow? It was only October!!

We got a big snow storm on October 26, 2006. I was NOT ready for snow just yet.

Trip to the May Farms

We ventured out to the May Farms and it was such a great day to be outside.

Pumpkin Carving.

Here are a few pictures from the carving party.

Halloween 2006

Here are the girls all dressed up for a night of trick or treating.

I made this butterfly costume when Anissa was in preschool. We recycled it for Anaia this year.

Now does Anissa really look like a devil to you?? Look at that sweet face.

Turkey, Turkey where is the Turkey??

For Anaia's class they had to take Tom the turkey and decorate him so he would not be recognized to avoid being cought!! Here is the cute little fella we came up with.

Eeeeks!!! It's been so long since I posted!

Here are some tins that we decoupaged this weekend. Here is Anaia's princess tin.

Here is Anissa's horse tin.

We had lots of fun this weekend doing crafts. Besides the tins, we made many objects doing origami (paper folding). We also folded some white paper and did some cuts and made pretty cool looking snowflakes.
