Here are a few pictures of the new horse I rescued recently. He looks SO much better already. He was very underweight and in pretty bad shape. He was beaten up badly from being in with 11 other horses and a buffalo. I named him Thunder. He is a real sweet heart!!
In this picture you can really see his muscle atrophy above his hind legs on his butt area. I am hoping it will go away as he gains weight.

Very pretty horse. I can't tell from photos that he isn't or wasn't in good shape, but I'm happy you're taking care of him now!
Thunder is absolutely gorgeous. I know I've said it before, but I think it's truly awesome that you took in this horse and are nursing him back to good health.
